Man fined Dhs6,000 for trespassing a villa

DUBAI: Dubai Misdemeanour and Violations Court fined an Asian national Dhs6,000 for trespassing a villa belonging to a European woman and consuming alcohol in unauthorised places.
The incident dates back to September 2024 when a European woman filed a report stating that she had seen, via surveillance cameras, a man breaking into her villa in Jebel Ali.
The woman explained that she and her husband had left the villa to stay at a hotel, leaving their son with a nanny and the following morning, she checked the surveillance footage on her phone to see the suspect sneaking into the villa through the back door. He also wandered around and attempted to open a window using a tool but fled after failing to do so, she added.
