Man fined Dhs15,000 for insulting woman

ABU DHABI: The Al Ain Civil, Commercial and Administrative Cases Court ordered a man to pay Dhs15,000 in compensation to a woman after he verbally abused her.
He was convicted in a criminal case.
Specifically, a woman filed a lawsuit against the man, requesting that he be ordered to pay her Dhs51,000 in compensation for the moral and psychological damage she suffered, as well as fees and expenses.
The lawsuit alleged that he had insulted her with indecent language and committed an indecent act. He was found guilty in a criminal case because she suffered damages as a result of his actions.
