Emirati women have secured leadership roles in the country's economic sector by investing over Dhs60 billion in the national and private economies. This demonstrates their competence and capabilities in business and investment.

- Adnan Najm, Staff Reporter

Female business leaders lauded the substantial support furnished by astute leadership to Emirati women engaged in the economic sector, who have contributed to growth by initiating their own projects. It was explained that this support has been instrumental in the success of their businesses.

Hana Al Rostamani, the Group CEO of the First Abu Dhabi Bank, is quoted as stating, "The Emirati Women's Day is a national occasion that underscores the nation's pioneering achievements in the field of women's empowerment, a legacy that has been established by the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He believed that women were integral to building the nation and therefore promoted their education and empowerment, encouraging them to take on leadership and decision-making roles. Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, known as the 'Mother of the Nation', has pursued this approach through strategic initiatives designed to empower women and enhance their role in the process of development and progress."
