The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected temperatures to drop slightly on Tuesday, when the country will be affected by a weak surface low-pressure system extending from the east and an upper-atmospheric high-pressure system.

- Mohammed Abu Al Samen, Staff Reporter

The centre stated that maximum temperatures will range between 29°C and 43°C and minimum temperatures between 20°C and 31°C. It noted that (Monday) will be clear to partly cloudy with humidity increasing at night and on Tuesday morning in some inland and coastal areas, where there is a chance of light fog forming. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally stronger at sea, causing dust. Wind speeds will range between IO and 25 km/h, reaching 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough and the Sea of Oman will be light.
