'Accident-free day' drivers get 4 penalty points removed

Individuals who committed to their pledge to the “A Day Without Accidents” campaign, held on Aug.25, 2025, received an SMS announcing the removal of four penalty points previously recorded against them.
This was in appreciation of their participation in and commitment to an initiative aimed at enhancing traffic safety. This is one of the Ministry of Interior's initiatives designed to encourage drivers to drive safely and motivate them to help prevent accidents.
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Federal Traffic Council and in coordination with the police departments across the country, launched its pioneering traffic initiative, “A Day Without Accidents,” on Aug.25, the first day of the new school year and the start of its quarterly “Safe School Year” campaign, to raise awareness of safety, prevention and traffic protection for road users.
