Sharjah suicides: IAS launches support initiative for Indians

Expat families can seek community help to address sensitive domestic conflicts

In the wake of the recent suicides of two Kerala women in Sharjah, the Indian Association Sharjah (IAS) launched a community support initiative on August 2, to help expat families address sensitive domestic conflicts.The weekly sessions will now be held every Saturday at the IAS premises.

Titled RISE, the family dispute redressal initiative by IAS is in coordination with the Sharjah Police's Community Preventive and Protection Department and the Consulate General of India, Dubai.
