Properties above Rs1 billion logged strong double-digit gains last year
Premium homes in Mumbai are now priced at levels comparable with parts of New York's Lower Manhattan, with luxury apartments in Worli reaching as high as Rs100,000 ($1,109) per square foot.
The price match underscores how sharply the city's high-end housing market has accelerated this year, driven mainly by domestic wealth creation and rising demand from Indian buyers.
