ON 79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY, AMBASSADOR HAILS COMMUNITY FOR ROLE IN STRENGTHENING INDIA-UAE RELATIONS
Indian expats of all ages and backgrounds woke up early on Friday to attend 79th Indian Independence Day celebrations at the embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate in Dubai.
Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sudhir, hoisted the tricolour in Abu Dhabi, while Consul General Satish Kumar Sivan, led the ceremony in Dubai.
