The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy opened the third edition of the 'Create Apps Championship', with winning entries set to benefit from funding packages worth over Dh2.5 million, helping support novel ideas from the development stage through to market launch.

Speaking at the launch, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, said that Dubai's emergence as a leading global hub for digital transformation embodies the bold development vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
