Synthetic Memories to simulate moments from patients’ lives using generative AI

The Mohammad Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, in collaboration with Emirates Health Services, has launched the first phase of clinical trials for the Synthetic Memories technology at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital.

This pioneering project aims to support the treatment of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients by digitally recreating lifelike memories that simulate moments from patients’ lives that have begun to fade, using generative AI technologies.
