GRIMSBY WILL HOPE TO CASH IN ON TRANMERE'S TROUBLES

- By SAM ALLEN

GRIMSBY Town will be eager to get back to winning ways as they entertain Tranmere Rovers at Blundell Park tonight.

Moved to be shown live on Sky Sports, the Mariners will have to break away from their usual schedule as they open up the new game week in League Two back at home, following another strong away performance which did not earn them all three points.

In a reverse of the 2-2 draw at Barrow in the previous away match, the Mariners came from two down at Swindon Town, who were leading the league at the start of the weekend, to grab a point, having opportunities to win late on.

Artell said of the latest draw: "I'm never satisfied when we don't win, and I'm always looking for ways to improve, but at the same time, it's something to take forward, and it could be a really important point in six months' time."
