IT'S A VERY PROUD MOMENT FOR ME

CHARLIE Casper could not hide his pride in making his EFL debut off the bench for Grimsby Town despite the team not getting the desired result.
The Burnley loanee stepped in at a time of need for the Mariners as starting keeper Christy Pym was sent off early in the second half of their game against Chesterfield on Saturday.
The 20-year-old had only appeared in the Vertu Trophy for Town before the weekend, but he got his first league opportunity in unusual circumstances for a goal keeper, being subbed on for an out field player, as the team went a man down.
Town lost 1-0 at Blundell Park, but as an individual, Casper could reflect with pride on his first professional league appearance, something he had dreamed about for a while.
“I'm obviously disappointed with the result, but on a personal note, it is a really proud moment for me and my family.
“My parents are really proud of me, and I’m proud of myself because it has always been a dream to play in the EFL.
