I'VE been hearing a lot about UPFs this week.

I didn’t know what it was at first but now understand it to be ultra processed foods.

I have learnt that even so called healthy foods are not necessarily as healthy as they seem.

This can affect not only your health but your weight.

Ultra processed foods are thought to be linked to diseases such as cancer, heart disease, obesity and anxiety.

Nearly half of the calories consumed by people these days come from ultra processed foods and these are often hidden calories that are not obvious to the ordinary person as they lurk in supposedly healthy foods.
