THE Welsh Government has released a list of “big cat” sightings reported to it.

In Wales, reports keep coming of large dark animals prowling the countryside and sometimes the outskirts of communities.
Police receive reports every year of sightings, while Puma Watch says big cats are mostly spotted in Eryri and the Clwydian hills.
The Welsh Government was sent a Freedom of Information request asking for any records held by the wildlife team in relation to alleged big cat sightings from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2025.
