Polestar 7 to Be Built in Slovakia as Volvo's New Plant Gears Up for EV Production

Electric vehicle maker Polestar has announced that its upcoming model, the Polestar 7, will be manufactured at Volvo Cars’ new state-of-the-art plant in Kosice, Slovakia, starting in 2028. This marks Polestar’s first European production move, reflecting a strategic shift to reduce reliance on Chinese manufacturing and avoid rising tariffs in key markets like the European Union and the United States.
