The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 has set the tone for a politically charged and closely watched battle, where the NDA appears to have gained a clear edge, largely driven by the emergence of a new and decisive “MY” factor — Mahila (women) and Youth voters.

Women across age groups have shown a distinct preference for Narendra Modi’s NDA. Though initially, the women card was played by Nitish Kumar, but subsequently, with passage of time, and Narendra Modi winning over the women sentiment, now the women card in Bihar stands almost completely shifted towards Modi. Therefore, it appears that in the first phase, women must have voted in a landslide manner for the NDA.
