These six competitors have not only medals but have also changed India's profile on international Olympic and Paralympic stages. Their passion, discipline, and resiliency mirror Rajasthan's never-before attitude.

1. Avani Lekhara

RESILIENCE IN SHOOTING CHAMPION

The ascent of Avani Lekhara is really inspirational. She became the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the Paralympics. She started shooting in 2012 after a spinal cord injury and rewrote history. From Jaipur, she won gold at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in the 10m air rifle SH1 with a record score of 249.6 and added a bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions. With a world record 249.7 in Paris 2024, she protected her title. Recently, She was awarded a Britannia Marie Gold tribute for her biscuitsized target victory.
