PM Modi In Banswara Today To Unveil Development Projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Banswara on September 25, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate a series of major megadevelopment projects worth over 1.22 lakh crore. This visit marks his 16th visit to Rajasthan in just 22 months, underlining his consistent focus on the state's development and outreach to its people.
The highlight of this visit will be the foundation-laying ceremony of the 2,800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project, estimated at ₹42,000 crore. The plant is a major step forward in India's energy transition, as part of the country’s target to achieve 100 GW nuclear capacity. This project will not only enhance power generation in the region but also place Rajasthan firmly on the map of atomic energy development.
