Engaging actively in outreach sessions, Modi championed the voices of the Global South, spotlighting inclusive energy, responsible AI, and climate justice. He emphasized that democracies must unify against modern challenges—especially terrorism—stating, “There must be no ambiguity: If a country supports terrorism, it must be held accountable,” and urging the G7 to apply the same rigor to terror as is used for sanctions. The Indian and Canadian Prime Ministers also took calibrated steps to restore their high commissioners, underscoring the strengthening of bilateral ties.
