Major success for anti-Naxal ops; 31 Maoists killed in 21-day action at Karregutta: CRPF DGP

In a major anti-Maoist operation spanning 21 days, security forces have killed 31 Maoists in the dense forests around Karregutta hills on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, marking a significant step in the fight against Maoist insurgency.

The operation, which began on April 21, resulted in the identification of 28 out of the 31 Maoists killed. These individuals had a combined reward of Rs 1.72 crore on their heads. Additionally, security forces seized 35 weapons, large amounts of ammunition, and destroyed four Maoist weapon-manufacturing units.
