Kirodi: No tolerance for fake seed sellers, action will be strict

Agriculture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena on Wednesday warned seed processing units involved in the production of substandard or suspicious quality seeds saying that such illegal practices will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken.

"Being a farmer's son, I cannot tolerate that farmers are cheated with substandard seeds," the minister said after raids by the agriculture department led by him exposed several irregularities in seed processing units.
