Jaipur Airport is becoming a reliable diversion hub for flights from Delhi due to significant technological upgrades, including the RVR, instrument landing system, and parallel taxi track. These improvements make it a preferred destination for diverted flights. In addition, the installation of India’s first automatic weather observing system in 2024 provides real-time weather data, enhancing operational efficiency.
Two Air Operation Command Centers (AOCC) ensure aircraft can land even in bad weather if conditions improve.
