Will you have your own building?

Our plans are to rent, and in due course, if all goes well, we may build from scratch. We are fascinated by the area around Powai.

Will there be faculty from York? It will be both from India and York, and over time it will be predominantly locally-hired. We don't envisage flying faculty.

Will there be student mobility between the York and the Mumbai campuses? Yes, and I am actually really, really interested in York students taking the opportunity to do part of their study in India, and I also mentioned our work in Greece, and I think there could be a nice triangle of opportunities. But I really want the Brits to come to India.

Will it be called University of York Mumbai campus? It will be called the University of York, Mumbai.
