FCI to install CCTV for monitoring grain storage

For real-time monitoring and surveillance of grain storage, the Food Corporation of India (FCI) plans to install sensors for temperature, air quality and other parameters along with features like CCTV surveillance in its 50 godowns in the next four to five months, a food ministry official said.
"Through installation of sensors, real-time monitoring of godowns as well as movement of grains would be monitored at the centralised level," an official told FE.
