Snowflake strategises enterprise Al

AS ENTERPRISES STEP up investment in artificial intelligence (Al), data and cloud services provider Snowflake is betting on companies consolidating and governing their data as they embark on the next stage of digital transformation.
The company is positioning its Al data cloud as a single platform that brings together storage, analytics, app development, and AI workloads.
Prasanna Krishnan, who leads collaboration and applications product management at Snowflake, said the strategy has been built in phases. The first was sharing structured data, followed by sharing applications, and now extending that to AI products. “We’ve moved from data sharing to applications, and now to Al products,” she said.
