Over 50% Indian job posts reveal salary, finds survey

According to new data from job platform Indeed, more than half of the job postings on its India site now include salary information, up from just 26% in March 2022.

By early 2025, this number had crossed the 50% mark—up from 47% at the end of 2023—highlighting a major cultural and strategic shift in recruitment. The trend is being fueled by job seekers increasingly seeking clarity, equity, and the ability to make informed decisions when considering opportunities.
