Govt extends RoDTEP benefits to EOUs, SEZs

The government on Monday extended the benefits of the tax refund scheme—Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP)—to Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Advance Authorisation (AA) holders, and units in Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
According to a notification issued by the directorate general of foreign trade (DGFT), the benefits under RoDTEP for these categories will be applicable from June 2025. These categories of exporters have been brought under the scheme after a gap of six months.
