On Wednesday, the US president had announced a 90-day pause on tariffs on most countries, except China, for which he raised the duties from 100% to 125%.

This came after China and the European Union announced counter-measures targeting US goods. However, on Thursday, the White House clarified that the total duties on China stand at 145%. It also said that the 26% tariffs on India now stand suspended until July 9 this year.
