UCO Bank Q3 net profit rises 27% on healthy core income

UCO BANK ON Tuesday reported a 27% increase in its net profit to ₹639 crore for the third quarter ended December 2024, helped by both interest and non-interest income.
The Kolkata-based lender had logged a net profit of ₹503 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Operating profit rose to ₹1,586 crore, against ₹1,119 crore in the December 2023 quarter.
Total income increased to ₹7,406 crore, from ₹6,413 crore in the same period last year, UCO Bank said in a regulatory filing.
