Trai: India's broadband user base crosses 1 bn

THE NUMBER OF broadband subscribers in India crossed the 1-billion mark in November 2025, according to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) on Wednesday.
At the end of November, the country had 1.004 billion broadband users, including 958.54 million mobile broadband and 45.11 million wire-line broadband users, the subscriber data disclosed by the sector regulator indicates.
