IPO-bound Meesho looks at ₹53,000-crore valuation

E-COMMERCE PLATFORM MEESHO, which plans to launch its initial public offering in the first half of December, is seeking a valuation of about ₹53,000 crore ($6 billion), according to people familiar with the matter.
The SoftBank Group-backed firm is in talks with SBI Funds Management for a pre-IPO placement, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private. The potential placement could alter the IPO size, estimated at about ₹6,000 crore, they said.
