EXPORT RECOVERY AND RICHER PRODUCT MIX DRIVE Q2 NET UP
BAJAJ AUTO ON Friday reported a strong performance for the July-September quarter, with standalone net profit rising 24% year-onyear to €2,480 crore on the back of higher exports anda more premium product mix.
The profit slightly exceeded Bloomberg consensus estimates of €2,440 crore.
Standalone revenue from operations increased 14% to %14,922 crore compared with 13,127 croreayear earlier,on the back of stronger realisations and record spares sales. Ebitda crossed the %3,000crore milestone for the first time, rising 15% year-on-year to about %3,052 crore, while margins improved to 20.5% from 20.2% during the same period last year.
