OpenAI to offer free year of ChatGPT Go to Indian users

OPENAI ON TUESDAY said that it will offer Indian users a free one-year subscription to ChatGPT Go, its recently launched mid-tier plan that supports higher query limits, image generation, and file uploads.
The limited-time promotion begins November 4 and coincides with OpenAl’s first DevDay Exchange event in Bengaluru, reflecting the company’s growing focus on India as a key market for artificial intelligence (Al) adoption.
The offer, available to both new and existing ChatGPT Go subscribers, marks a major push by OpenAI to expand its footprint in India, which it calls its second-largest and among the fastest-growing markets globally.
