Denemek ALTIN - Özgür
In search of perfect wave - and then prolonging it!

LEFT to its own devices, my hair is neither straight nor curly but somewhere in between.
And for quite some time, the internet has (somehow) known this fact about me. Presumably I have been spotted by a Chinese satellite parading around the Westcountry with a slight natural waviness in my hair.
Anyway, off the back of this, I have been hounded by a company called Merwave which wanted me to use their products sorry, “system” - to make my hair even wigglier.
Given that I have spent quite a lot of my life aiming to make my hair smooth and unfrizzy, by way of hairdryers, hot straighteners and bucket-loads of serums, I was resistant to their blandishments for quite some time at first.
Especially as the “system” apparently involved five steps. Five steps! That was at least three more than I could be bothered with at hairwash time, that’s for sure.
However, eventually they got to me. I saw a video on social media by what appeared to be a sane and sensible woman, explaining how she followed the five steps of the Merwave method.
Well, it turned out that steps one and two were washing and conditioning. This gave me some hope as, essentially, that’s not a system so much as basic hygiene.
