Cllr Gemma Rolstone, left, the new Deputy Lord Mayor of Exeter, and Cllr Anne Jobson, the incoming Lord Mayor
A COUNCILLOR whose CV includes roles as a ballet teacher and a magician's assistant has pledged to highlight the magic of Exeter in her year as Lord Mayor.
The city's top job for the coming year belongs to Councillor Anne Jobson, and the Conservative member for St Loye's said taking on the role is "the greatest privilege".
She took office during a formal ceremony in the city's Guildhall.
Cllr Jobson, who was awarded an OBE in 1992 for political and public service, is a barrister specialising in family law.
