Father-of-two stabbed to death in weekend of London violence

THE family of a father-of-two stabbed to death on the streets of London today said “the world is less bright” as detectives appealed for help to track down his killer.
Josh McKay, 33, was knifed on Lea Bridge Road in Leyton, shortly before 3pm on Saturday. Police, paramedics and London’s air ambulance were scrambled but despite their efforts, he died at the scene.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. They said: “The heart of our family has stopped beating. The world is less bright without his beautiful smile.”
