Currys makes progress on Nordics but UK computer sales drop

CURRYS today revealed slow signs of progress towards fixing its disastrous Nordics business today, but a fall in computer sales hit its core UK arm.
The fridges-to-phones high street giant said trends in the Nordics region had "improved slightly" in the 17 weeks to August 26. However, the environment "remains challenging". The Nordics had been a major source of trouble for Currys, as discounting from rivals caused profits to plummet
