Grant uses power of friendship to promote men's physical health

Presenter and panto performer Grant Stott is harnessing the power of friendship to promote men's health and raise awareness of prostate cancer.

- by Julie Douglas

After a break of five years, filled with filming commitments and a busy recording schedule, he will be returning to Prestonfield House on January 22 to host Prostate Scotland's annual fundraising Burns Supper.

In the meantime, he wants more men - including his own mates - to take the disease more seriously.

Now 58, Grant recently signed up for his first PSA test after being inspired by Sir Chris Hoy speaking openly about his terminal diagnosis.

He then messaged his longstanding WhatsApp group of school friends to say he was going for the test and challenged them to do the same before Christmas.
