A mysterious naked woman suffering from amnesia is found dumped in a holdall in Times Square in Manhattan, New York City - who is she and where did she come from?

Clues are in full view but there's a Blindspot for the FBI to solve

The Jane Doe' is covered in tattoos with each one providing a clue to a crime that an FBI team, led by agent Kurt Weller, set out to solve as part of a much larger conspiracy.

It transpires that each tattoo contains clue, within clue, within clue. The team begins work to decode the body tapestry, which often gives information about international plots tied to various shady characters and organisations.

In solving each new clue the FBI team slowly piece together the woman's true identity and her history.

This is the premise of American NBC channel TV series Blindspot, now showing in its entirety as a boxset on ITVX.

Jaimie Alexander plays the Jane Doe, who is Remi Briggs (born Alice Kruger). Her back story is told in flashbacks and moments when she acts on automatic pilot to reveal a past life where she showcases a wide variety of combat and language skills.

The FBI team suspects that she is a former Navy SEAL, whose identity is classified because of her involvement in special ops.
