Street Pastors to provide vital support in area

Dumfries and Galloway is to get its own Street Pastors.

In the last few years, a visiting team from the national initiative of trained volunteers who patrol in teams of men and women, has been in Dumfries on evenings and during events at times.

However, The Dumfries and Galloway Street Pastor initiative will formally launch at 7pm on Friday, December 5, with a Commissioning Service in St Mary's Church (The River of Life Church), Dumfries.
