Scotland's World Cup aces honoured by council
Superstars Grant Hanley and Lyndon Dykes line-up in the Scotland squad
The countdown is on until Scotland compete in the World Cup-and two of the team’s stars are set to be honoured here next week.
Dumfries football heroes Grant Hanley and Lyndon Dykes are expected to receive a civic seal of approval by Dumfries and Galloway councillors.
On the back of their huge achievement in helping Scotland reach the World Cup for the first time since 1998, the players are to be officially recognised by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
