Boat pilots jailed after deaths in the Channel

TWO men have been jailed for their part in an incident in which two people died while trying to cross the Channel from France to the UK.

Afghan nationals Shah Salim Sajjadi, 38, and Safiollah Mohammadi, 25, were arrested after a vessel they were piloting arrived in UK waters on Wednesday, May 21. It was carrying more than 70 people.
