FORMER Derby County winger Festy Ebosele believes his global travels are helping him secure a regular place in the Republic of Ireland team.

The Wexford native is currently playing for Super Lig team Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey, following a stint in Serie A with Udinese, the club he joined from the Rams in July 2022.
And he has eagerly seized the chance to experience football in diverse locations.
"I love the travelling,"said Ebosele.
"I love seeing the world, playing in different countries. I think it makes me a better footballer as well, to be honest.
"I'm very happy, very happy."
