JASON IS 'COMMUNITY HERO' FOR SECOND YEAR AS HE MAKES COMMEMORATIVE FLOWERS
A LACK of poppies in part of Derby has prompted a local man to make the commemorative flowers for the second year running.
Jason Toon, who last year hand made cardboard poppies, has gone one further this year and crafted a series of wooden poppies for Littleover.
Mr Toon, who runs the Facebook page Everything Sherwood Foresters, wants to ensure that the importance of Remembrance events is not forgotten.
