LARGE-SCALE PORTRAIT OF PAINTER JOSEPH IS READY FOR THE 'YEAR OF WRIGHT'
EAGLE-EYED readers may well be spotting murals appearing in parts of Derby over the next few months.
One of the first is a large-scale colourful portrait of Derby-born artist Joseph Wright, internationally known as Wright of Derby. It has been created on the side wall of Inka Tattoos in Curzon Street by Raze Murals.
Joseph Wright was born in Iron Gate in 1734 and specialised in portrait painting and landscape art.
