'HUNDREDS TURNED UP TO RAY'S HOUSE FOR HALLOWEEN LAST YEAR...THIS YEAR WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER'

COME AND VISIT...IF YOU DARE!

A DERBY man has transformed his home into a Halloween shrine inspired by the likes of Alton Towers' Scarefest and he's hoping for big crowds after being visited by "more than 1,000" children last year.

Allenton's Ray Theobald, who works as a funeral director, has spent the last weeks and months creating an immersive Halloween experience in his garden.

The Theobalds have always gone all out for spooky season, but since the pandemic, Ray admits that things have "got a little out of hand".

His front garden on the corner of Tower Street and Osmaston Park Road has been transformed into a graveyard made completely out of DIY props - but what lies in his two gazebos is what causes crowds to gather.

Inside the two black gazebos lay a maze of horror and terror. Upon entry, a few skeletons can be seen dotted around, before things take a turn in the next 'room'
