Newcastle make it six Premier League teams in the next round
THERE will be a total of SIX Premier League teams in the Champions League's last 16, after Newcastle booked their place in the next round on Tuesday.
With Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur already booking their spot, the Magpies followed their 6-1 win away to Qarabag in Azerbaijan in last week's first leg with a 3-2 victory in the return at St James' Park. Sandro Tonali and Joelinton both scored inside the opening six minutes, leaving Qarabag facing another pak slae.
