'Rowers' killed in Philippi

THREE suspects who hijacked a delivery vehicle in Browns Farm, Philippi, met their fate after they were shot dead.
Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut said that detectives attached to the Provincial Serious and Violent Crime unit are probing the triple moord that happened in Browns, Farm Phillippi, last week.
Traut reported: “According to reports, two men were travelling in a light delivery vehicle in Nyanga earlier today, Thursday, 26 June 2025, when they were hijacked at gunpoint by unknown suspects.
The suspects forced the victims into the back of the vehicle and drove off.
