'Mountain fire is still raging'

THE Table Mountain wildfire has not been contained yet and is threatening to spread to Chapman's Peak.

The fire, which has been causing havoc in the Tokai-Silvermine-Kalk Bay area since Friday, is still being monitored by firefighters.

Over the last five days, more than 250 first responders have been risking their lives to put out the blaze.
