A BLOCKBUSTER exhibition bout between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr is reportedly set for 25 April in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
The venue is historically significant as the site of the legendary 1974 “Rumble in the Jungle,” where Muhammad Ali defeated George Foreman for the heavyweight title.
Tyson, 59, holds a professional record of 50-7 with two no contests. He last fought in November 2024, losing an eight-round decision to Jake Paul in a highly-publicised Netflix event. The former heavyweight champion has not recorded a victory since 2003.
